The length of time and the expenses of a family tree research cannot be determined before hand because, of the nature of the work. It is influenced by the residence of the ancestors, the geographical research, the largeness of settlements and the sources. The frequency of family names can increase the speed of research. The starting data are very important, which can (if they are collected well and can be used well) reduce the expences and the length of time of the research.

I can give an offer about the prices and expences after discussing the client's wishes, aims and the starting data. After agreeing about the direction and the aim of the research I give a previous calculation. We can agree even in a written form, it depends on the client's wish. In the agreement we can settle the aim, the deadline and the conditions of payment.

I always ask for a smaller amount of advance payment, from which I can cover the costs of the research. All the other expenses should be paid after finishing the research and at same time when giving the documentation of the family tree.

During the work I keep contact with my client, I give any information about the milestones of research. The client can decide if he/she wants to continue the research for example even at abroad or not.
